Vice-Mayor of Shanghai Visits Seychelles

    From Oct. 30th to Nov. 2nd, China's city of Shanghai Vice-Mayor Tu Guangshao led a delegation to visit Seychelles.

    Accompanied by Chinese ambassador to Seychelles, Shi Zhongjun, Vice-Mayor Tu paid a courtesy call on President James Michel, and held talks respectively with Foreign Minister Jean-Paul Adam and Minister of Tourism & Culture Alain St. Ange. In the afternoon of Oct. 31st, Tu signed a memorandum of understanding with the Mayor of Victoria Jacqueline Moustache-Belle for the twining of Shanghai and Victoria.

    Besides, Tu made a speech at Conference of Industry and Commerce between China and Seychelles, as well as witnessed the signing of MoU between UnionPay and Seychelles Tourism Board. Under the MoU, the two sides will jointly marketing and realize the access to UnionPay card of tourists in Seychelles.
