Chinese Embassy in Seychelles Held Mid-Autumn Festival Reception

On 4 October 2017, Chinese Embassy in Seychelles held a Mid-Autumn reception at Chili Bar in Victoria. More than 160 guests including representatives of local Chinese community, company staff, medical team and teachers from the Confucius Institute attended the event to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival.

Ambassador Yu Jinsong extended greetings and best wishes to the guests and briefed them on China's major achievements in 2017. She said China's rapid development is inseparable from the support and the contribution of Chinese living abroad. She encourages overseas Chinese in Seychelles to unite and forge ahead for development of bilateral relations and friendship between the two peoples.

Other speakers at the event include Chairman of the Chinese Association of Seychelles Mr. Charlie Ng Ping Cheun, chairman of the Seychelles-China Trade and Business Promotion Association Mr. Zhou Jinhua and leader of the Chinese medical team in Seychelles Mr. Gao Yang. They expressed blessings to China and deep thoughts to their family members.

The reception was held in a warm and cheerful atmosphere.The guests wished prosperity of China and happiness of its people.
