Ambassador Yu Jinsong Present at Voluntary Medical Consultations by China Medical Team

On 20 May 2017, the 16th China medical team in Seychelles provided free medical consultations to Pointe Larue community of Mahé, the largest island of Seychelles. Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles H.E. Mme. Yu Jinsong was presented at the event with the elected member of the National Assembly for the Pointe Larue constituency Mr. Jude Valmont and officials from the Ministry of Health.

The consultations started from 8.30 am and lasted till 2.30pm. Nearly 100 citizens from the community came to check the condition of their health and seek for medical advice.

         

The event was initiated by Ministry of Health and Chinese Embassy in Seychelles and organized by China medical team in collaboration with the district administration of Pointe Larue. Chinese youth volunteers and enterprises in Seychelles also gave strong support to the event.

         

Local newspaper Seychelles Nation covered the story with a front-page headline report on 22 May 2017.
