On 1 June 2017, Mr. Guo Zhenguang, Political Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Seychelles, visited La Rosiere primary school and celebrated the Children’s Day with more than 150 students from the school.

On behalf of H.E. Ambassador Yu Jinsong, Mr. Guo Zhenguang sent panda toys to the students, wishing them a happy festival. The Political Counsellor said panda is China’s national treasure and a symbol of peace and friendship. He hopes the children will carry forward the long-time friendship between the two countries.

Head teacher of the School Mrs. Beryl Botsoie thanked the Embassy for the kind gesture. The children said pandas were adorable and they were happy to get the gifts on this special day for them.
