|The 4th Seychelles-China Day was Successfully Held in Victoria|
The 4th Seychelles-China Day, organized by Chinese Embassy in Seychelles, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture and the Chinese Association of Seychelles, was successfully held in Victoria from 21 to 22 January 2017.
Following the opening ceremony on 21 January, the Chinese Bazaar was opened at the the International Conference Centre of Seychelles (ICCS) car park on the morning of 22 January. Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles H.E. Mme. Yu Jinsong, Minister for Youth, Sports and Culture Ms. Idith Alexander, chief executive of the Creative Industries and National Events Agency (Cinea) Galen Bresson and chairman of the Seychelles Chinese Association Charlie Ng Ping Cheung were present at the event.
On the afternoon of 22 January, Xinjiang Art Theater Song and Dance Troupe performed a two-hour long cultural show at ICCS.
Seychelles-China Day was launched in 2014 and has become an important annual event for local people.
