Important updates including:
As from 18 November 2020, foreign passengers must get the Green Code of Health Declaration Form via online application, while the application for stamped Health Declaration Form via email shall not be accepted.
In order to reduce cross-border transmission of Covid-19,starting from 7 Nov 2020,all Chinese and foreign passengers who are to fly from Seychelles to China will be required to take both nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests and then apply for a green health code with the "HS"mark or a certified health declaration form before boarding the flight.The specific requirements are as follows:
I. Test Requirements
Passengers going to China via connecting flights must take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests in Seychelles within 48 hours before boarding their flight to the transit country and then take both tests again in the transit country within 48 hours before boarding the plane to China(Medical Institution :Seychelles Hospital,tel:00248-4388000).Passengers must apply at the Chinese embassies/consulates in BOTH countries for green health codes with the "HS" mark or certified health declaration forms with certificates of negative results of both tests.The validity period commences from the sampling date of the earlier one from the two tests.
The detailed information and procedures of the testing institution are as follows: Seychelles Hospital (appointment required), tel: 00248-4388000 or 141.The process is:
(1) Registration, payment and sampling on the second floor of the National Stadium (Maison Football, Roche Caiman).Time: 9 am to 4 pm on Weekdays).Please wear a mask and show your id there.
(2) Obtain the result the next day.
II. Chinese Passengers Applying for Green Health Code with the"HS"Mark
Chinese Passengers must upload to the WeChat Health Code app photos of their negative nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests results,which will then be examined and verified by the Chinese Embassy /consulates.Then they will get the green health code with the "HS" mark.Passengers must present the green code within its validity period to the airlines flying directly to China before boarding.
III.Foreign Passengers Applying for Certified Health Declaration Form
Foreign passengers should log in the application program by visiting https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ or scan the following QR code, and upload photos of their COVID-19 negative certificates of both nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests and passports to the program after obtaining both said test reports.
Passengers upon approval by the Chinese Embassy or consulate will obtain a Green Health Code with an "HS" mark or Green Code of Health Declaration Form with "HDC" mark for a certain validity period. All passengers are required to travel within the validity period, and cooperate with airlines for codes checking. Hard copies of COVID-19 negative certificates are strongly recommended to be kept on hand for further checking.
IV.Reminder:
Please read the requirements carefully and follow them accordingly. Failure to obtain the green health code with the"HS" mark or a certified health declaration form with negative nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests results means you do not qualify for boarding the flight to China and will have to change your itinerary.
If you must go to China via connecting flights, please check the transit country's entry regulations and its nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests requirements beforehand. Failure to enter the transit country or meet the requirements regarding the tests,the green code or certified health declaration form could result in being stranded and heightened infection risks.
